The Sorbisar or Sorbies are a firm disc covered in sugar with one half sour strawberry and the other half black licorice.

Sugar, glucose syrup, water, corn starch, gelatin (pork), acidity regulator (malic acid, sodium citrate), flavorings, color: caramel and carmine.

A pleasant surprise

First time I bit into one, I must admit I was a bit put off of the sour flavor mixing with the classic Licorice. I was just unsure what to make of it. Yet, on a second taste I really found it pleasant how the sour/sweet mixed with the bitter black licorice flavor, reminding me of a Ruby Red Grapefruit. I would recommend it now fully and find it one of my go to licorices.
