Sassolini by Amarelli

Wonderful taste and texture. Unique sweet vanilla candy coating over Amarelli Assabesi style licorice. It’s a quality product, and I love them!

I have purchased these before. My last order had a different texture that I didn’t recall having before. The past order the flavor was a more anise flavor and it was Delicious. But this last order the flavor is more of a licorice flavor and the texture. They are okay but I am disappointed that they have changed.

With the perfect balance of astringent licorice oil and a sweet vanilla candy coating, the "Sassolini" are -- by far -- Amarelli's best licorice product (Licorice International needs to keep a "strategic reserve" of these on stock, at all times)!

We have enjoyed this style of licorice for years, though it is sometimes hard to get.

My husband loves these! Great combo of a crunchy coating and subtle chewy interior.
