A long-standing Dutch favorite, Kokindjes are small, soft, sweet, dome-shaped licorice candies emblazoned with a distinctive letter K. The have a strong licorice flavor (8.5% licorice extract) and a touch of salt, which enhances the licorice flavor even more. Kokindjes are similar to the German Katjes Katzen Pfotchen (Paws) which have been very difficult to find in the United States lately.

Sugar, glucose syrup, modified food starch, glucose-fructose syrup, licorice (8.5%), molasses, sal-ammoniac salt, natural flavoring, herbal extract, vegetable oil (sunflower), shining agent (beeswax white and yellow). May contain traces of milk and wheat.

Mild flavor. If you are looking for intense licorice or salted licorice try something else! My boyfriend likes it though, so those who like mild will like it. Decent texture.

Lovely! Slightly chewy, al dente texture and a beautiful flavor of licorice and herbs eucalyptus, clove, juniper that tastes like a snowy mountain forest.
