A long-standing Dutch favorite, Kokindjes are small, soft, sweet, dome-shaped licorice candies emblazoned with a distinctive letter K. They have a strong licorice flavor (8.7% licorice extract). Kokindjes are similar to the German Katjes Katzen Pfotchen (Paws).

Sugar, glucose syrup, glucose-fructose syrup, food starch, licorice extract (8.7%), molasses, modified food starch, flavors, herbal extracts, vegetable oil (sunflower), shining agent (carnauba wax). May contain traces of milk.

In sweet licorice section but mildly salty

Good licorice flavor but mild ammonia aftertaste was somewhat off putting. Initially picked this candy because it had most licorice extract by weight (8.6 %) . Not sure it was really to my taste.

I wish I could go 4.5 stars.

The small Kokindjes texturally are a bit gumdrop like, however, the intense no nonsense licorice flavor is great. When you bite into it, the flavor and all it's qualities hits you quickly. A great choice.

The very best licorice I've ever had

This one. This is my favorite 😍. My daughter, the other black licorice afficionado in the family, and I both agree that this one is the best. The texture is perfect, the licorice is strong with a little tingle. All this, and gluten free! It's so good!!!

These are great, good licorice flavor. Not salmiak (which is my favorite), but really good and I order these every time I make an order now.
