Better option for an awesome licorice chew is Walker's English Toffee Liquorice Flavor. They are SOOOO Good. Neither is like the Callard & Bowser licorice chews I remember from decades ago, but Walker's is pretty close.

So similar to the Callard & Bowser licorice toffee from my younger years. That is what prompted me to try these because that was mentioned in the description. I have been on a quest to find something similar but nothing was quite the same. I bought 2 small bags to give it a try and gave one to a friend who also loved licorice toffee for Christmas - it was a huge hit and definitely a nice surprise! For anyone on the fence about ordering this flavor take the leap as these are not like black rope-style licorice. These are creamy good with an exquisite flavor. Guaranteed to become a family favorite.
