A deep dark chocolate shell encasing a delightfully chewy old-fashioned licorice twist! This is truly an outstanding taste treat, available only during the cooler months. *Current batch is longer than normal but still delicious.

Semisweet Chocolate:[contains: Sugar, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, soy lecithin (an emulsifier), vanilla], molasses, corn syrup, wheat flour, sugar, modified corn starch, palm oil, licorice extract, natural flavor (aniseed oil), artificial colors (FD&C Blue #1, Red #40, Yellow #6), monoglyceride (emulsifier), salt, confectioner's glaze, gum arabic. Manufactured in a facility that processes tree nuts/peanuts, dairy, wheat and soy products.

Crumbly chocolate overpowers licorice

Licorice and chocolate is a magical taste combination, so I wanted to love these, but the licorice is no match for the thick chocolate covering, and I can barely taste it. THe chocolate is crumbly, so if you eat it in bites be sure to hold something under it to catch the crumbsl. If the licorice were stronger flavored, and the chocolate were thinner and more cooperative, these could be more successful.

Sorry but these are terrible. Too big, too bland.

These things are THE BOMB. The licorice inside seems like the soft Australian type. It's OK, but the real selling point is the chocolate coating. Whomever makes these should sell a version without the licorice, just a hefty nugget of chocolate. They'd sell like crazy.
