A customer suggested that we offer this product (as well as the butter caramels) and when we tried them we simply couldn't forget the delicious combination of creamy texture and licorice flavor. Individually wrapped. Approximately 11 pieces in a 1/4 lb. bag.

Corn syrup, half and half, sugar, sweetened condensed milk, cream, palm kernel oil, butter, coconut oil, natural anise oil, vanilla, salt, soy lecithin, artificial coloring: FD&C Blue 1 & 2, Red 40 and Yellow 5. Made on shared equipment with nuts, including peanuts, gelatin and wheat gluten.

I like these well enough for the sweetness, but they don't quite commit to licorice or caramel.

Tastes like something alright, but not quite licorice. I'd still try it at least once for the novelty, but regular caramel is better.

Anise is NOT licorice! Stick with the Dutch if you like true licorice flavour!
